Welcome to EWGA Los Angeles! Want to play golf, but can�t find the people, places or time? Your company or client wants you to play golf, but you aren�t too sure about the rules of the game or golf etiquette? Don�t have a handicap? Then check out the Executive Women�s Golf Association, we may be the group for you.
Founded in 1991, EWGA, a national organization designed to promote and foster a spirit of acceptance, dignity and respect for career-oriented women golfers, and welcomes individual golfers of all levels. You do not have to be a member of a club or course to join, and beginners are encouraged to participate. EWGA has over 13,000 members with 90 chapters nationwide � so pack your clubs when you travel!
The 300-member Los Angeles Chapter conducts beginner and intermediate clinics, organizes weekly league play and monthly outings at courses throughout the greater Los Angeles area. A Nine is Enough! League features outings at area par-3 executive courses for members who are beginners or don�t have the time for a full 18-hole golf outing. Weekly twilight leagues are held at the Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena and Westchester Golf Course in El Segundo near LAX. EWGA also has inter-chapter mixers in San Diego, Orange County, and Santa Barbara.
